1 AIP POTUGAL EN EN 1.2 VISUAL FLIGHT ULES VF outes in Lisboa TMA General emarks: Due to traffic complexity in the area surrounding Lisboa Airport, the vicinity of Cascais Aerodrome and the growth of VF traffic into the SW area subjacent to Lisboa TMA and close to Lisboa CT, it is of the utmost importance the adjustment of VFtraffic flows in order to avoid the overload of Lisboa Approach adio frequency. For the provision of FIS, VF traffic operating on Visual South One VS1, Visual South VS, Visual East One VE1 Visual East VE2 and Visual North VN, shall: 1. Submit a FPL(in person, by fax or telephone) or AFIL. 2. eport entering and exiting the and maintain continuous monitoring on Lisboa Approach frequency. 3. Be equipped and maintain in operation SS Transponder with mode C. 4. 3 AIP POTUGAL EN VF s in Porto TMA General emarks: Due to traffic complexity in Porto Airport, the vicinity of Vilar de Luz Aerodrome and the growth of VF traffic into the North- Northeast area adjacent to Porto CT and subjacent to Porto TMA, it is of the utmost importance the adjustment of VF traffic flows in order to avoid the overload of Porto Approach radio frequency. To accomplish with the stated above, two-way routes named respectively Esposende (visual EPs:Zende-Belos), Barcelos (visual EPs; Belos-Famal), ates (visual EPs: Zende-Gondi-Famal), Crestuma (visual eps: Famal-Alfen-Crest) and Barca (visual EPs: Alfen-Jumbo-Botik) are brought into service with the observation of the following compulsory rules. For the provision of FIS, VF traffic operating on: a. Esposende, Barcelos and Crestuma shall: 1. Submit a FPL (in person, by fax or telephone) or AFIL. 2. eport entering and exiting the tunnels and maintain continuous monitoring on Porto Approach frequency. 3. Be equipped and maintain in operation SS transponder with mode C. 4. Set always the altimeter with Porto updated QNH b. ates : 1. Obtain prior permission from Porto ATC to proceed on this route, and 2. Comply with points 1, 2, 3 and 4 of a. above. c. Barca (Emergency): 1. This is only available to aircraft under radio communication failure circumstances, and that are unable to divert to any other Aerodrome d. eporting points (EPs) ZENDE, BELOS, FAMAL, ALFEN, and CEST are compulsory EPs for those VF flights intending to enter or cross Porto CT. Note: - oute structure (corridor) for VF traffic, defined longitudinally by a central axis extending laterally 1.5NM and vertically limited by a specified altitude. 6 EN AIP POTUGAL VF TUNNEL IN FAO TMA General emarks: Due to traffic complexity in the area surrounding Faro Airport and the growth of VF Traffic into the area subjacent to Faro TMA and close to Faro CT, it is of the utmost importance the adjustment of VF traffic flows in order to avoid the overload of Faro Approach adio frequency. To accomplish with the stated above, the two way tunnels named EAST and WEST defined by visual reference points Marina de Vilamoura - Almancil - São João da Venda - Pechão - Quelfes - Fuseta are brought into service with the observation of the following compulsory rules. For the provision of FIS, VF traffic operating on: a. East - West, shall: 1. Submit a FPL ( in person, by fax or telephone ). 2. Maintain continuous two-way radio communication. 3. Be equipped and maintain in operation SS Transponder with Mode C. 4. Set always the altimeter with Faro updated QNH b. Visual reporting points, Albufeira, Loulé, S. Brás de Alportel and Tavira are compulsory EP s for VF Flights intending to enter or cross Faro CT. c. Visual reporting points, Fuseta, Praia de Faro, Almansil and Marina de Vilamoura are compulsory EP s inside Faro CT. NOTE: - oute structure (corridor) for VF traffic, defined longitudinally by a central axis extending laterally 1.5NM and vertically limited by a specified altitude.
