TERMS & CONDITIONS The Ground Handling charge is a compulsory fee that is charged by Desert Adventures. The handling fee must always be charged for all bookings processed. This oneoff compulsory charge per arrival, per passenger for the United Arab Emirates does include stipulated services and therefore will always be charged even if meet and assist, transfer services or hotel accommodation are not required. The Ground Handling fees are applicable even when booking any Supplementary Airport Services (see following pages) No Show : Ground handling fees will be charged as booked. HOW DO WE MEET YOUR GUESTS? The Desert Adventures Airport Representative will be waiting in an allocated area after the guests exit the Airport terminal, holding a sign with the passengers names or Desert Adventures logo. We kindly request the guests to identify themselves to our team members. We will present the guest with a Desert Adventures Welcome Pack containing useful information on the destination and recommended tours and excursions, city map, office numbers, name and contact number of the preassigned representative, a schedule on when he or she will be visiting the guest, 4 hour Emergency number and hotel vouchers (if accommodation is booked through Desert Adventures). HOW CAN GUESTS RECOGNIZE DESERT ADVENTURES Airport REPRESENTATIVES? All our Airport team members are easily identifiable in their beige uniform. RECOMMENDATION IN CASE OUR REPRESENTATIVE CAN T BE LOCATED? 23 Visa TERMS & CONDITIONS All visa fees are nonrefundable Visas are issued only to guests with confirmed hotel booking Working days are Sunday to Thursday. The Immigration Department is closed on Public Holidays. The passport must be valid for a period of 3 months from the date of arrival in the UAE. Inaccurate details will result in processing delays, inconvenience to the clients on arrival, and additional charges levied by the authorities. Passport details as per below visa application are required to issue the visa. Desert Adventures will not compare passport details to the visa application form. All details will be extracted only from Passport and any errors in the information provided will render the visa invalid. All new visa applications will have to be submitted with the following documents :. Scanned passport copy (colour) of applicant. Digital colored photograph of the applicant (4.3 x5.5 cm in JPG format not exceeding 40kb). In case of passenger overstay in the country, Tour Operator will be charged USD, (AED 5,000.00) plus 00 Dhs per day overstay after 30 days for Tourist Visas. While Desert Adventures can submit a visa application on behalf of the client it is the UAE Immigration Department who has sole discretion in the issuance of said visa. The prebooked rates are applicable only when the Tour Operator makes the booking and payment. CANCELLATION POLICY No refund will be payable for cancellations within 4 hours or less of the departure. CHILD POLICY Children below years of age are free of charge. Infants are not permitted to join any safari trips Aquaventure: Child rates are only applicable to Children between 3 to 7 years of age. 8 years and older adult prices are applicable. GENERAL NOTES: Meals and soft drinks are included in our excursions as outlined in the descriptions. Please check with your Desert Adventures representative for the supplement for pickup/dropoff for hotels in other emirates. Seating on all our tours and safaris may not be preallocated. We operate a 'seat swap' policy during all stops. Operating schedules and routes of some of our tours and safaris may change during the Holy Month of Ramadan and the summer months. We reserve the right to cancel any tour or alter any part of the tour at our discretion. Passengers are reminded that photography of military and some government installations is prohibited. With respect to local customs, always ask before taking pictures of Arabs and do not photograph Arab ladies. Littering is punishable offence and clients to be reminded that offenders may face penalties in the form of fines. Our safari vehicles are longwheelbase four wheel drives, which are fitted with safety belts and airconditioning and licensed to carry up to six passengers, excluding the driver. By law, passengers must wear their seat belts while the vehicle is in motion. Our safaris involve offroad driving through rugged areas which all adds to the excitement. However, because of the adventurous nature of the journeys and the rough terrain covered, passengers should not participate if their health or any preexisting medical conditions (including heart ailments or back problems) may be adversely affected. For this reason we regret we are unable to accept expectant mothers, passengers with back conditions and passengers under the age of six years or over 65 years of age. We recommend that passengers read the Safety Card held by their safari driver/guide in the vehicle before proceeding on the safari tours.
