Fleet Germania Flug AG operates three aircraft flying from Switzerland to the most popular holiday destinations and to the Balkans. Our 2 Airbus A319 with 150 seats and our Airbus A321 with 215 seats offer comfortable seating with excellent sense of space, along with a state of the art lightning system on board. 2 General information FARES Basic Economy (B class) With the Basic Economy fare, booking and name changes are not possible. Classic Economy (H K L M Q S T X class) With the Classic Economy fare, booking changes are possible up to two hours before departure (fee applies). Name changes are also possible up to two hours before departure of the first flight (fee applies). Flex Economy (Y class) With the Flex Economy fare, changes to the date of the flight are allowed free of charge up to two hours before departure. Name changes are also possible free of charge up to two hours before departure of the first flight. Refundable for a fee of CHF 30. Baggage rules Free baggage allowance Adults and children from the age of 2: 20 kg; Infants under the age of 2: 10 kg; Free baggage allowance per infant (under the age of two): one pram, buggy, child seat or travel cot. Hand baggage 6 kg (max. 55 cm length x 40 cm width x 20 cm height) Excess baggage CHF 12 per kg and flight, payable at Swissport Ticket Center Extended stays For stays of 28 days or more, passengers who are able to show a return flight ticket with Germania Flug AG in one booking may check in up to 30 kg of baggage free of charge. Seat reservations General seat reservations Standard Seat Reservation is subject to a CHF 15 fee. XL seats A CHF 30 fee will be charged per XL seat. XL seats also can be booked at the check-in counter. The CHF 30 fee can be paid by credit/ec card or in cash at the Swissport Ticket Center. Evening check-in Evening check-in for all departures the following day up to 12 midday A passenger can check in multiple passengers upon presentation of their passports or government-issued ID cards and receive the boarding passes for all passengers. Please note that for all transportation boxes for animals in the cargo hold, water and food containers that can be filled from the outside must be attached to the box. 4 Travel preparations for persons with special needs Accessible travel For passengers with restricted mobility who require assistance with long distances at the airport as well as with boarding and exiting the aircraft, we offer a complimentary service adjusted to your needs. In order to be fully prepared please inform us at least two working days before departure about the assistance required. Registration:, via agency@germania.ch Oxygen on board If you require additional oxygen during the flight, please bring your personal oxygen machine with you on board. In order to be fully prepared please inform us with a medical certificate proving your eligibility to fly. As per the dangerous goods regulations applicable to air travel, oxygen flasks may weigh a maximum of 5 kg when full. Please note that liquid oxygen systems are not permitted to be transported. We ask you to book the carriage of an oxygen machine at least 2 working days before departure. Registration:, via agency@germania.ch Guide dogs Passengers reliant on an assistance dog or guide dog can of course take the animal into the aircraft cabin free of charge. A special transport container for your dog is not required. Please note that you must inform us you are bringing your animal and are responsible for producing all documents required for entry and exit (valid qualification certificate, pet passport, vaccination certificate and health certificate, etc.). Please inform us of your guide dog at least 2 working days before departure. Registration:, via agency@germania.ch Special medical baggage We transport special medical baggage (for example respirators, inhalers, mobility aids) free of charge upon presentation of a medical certificate. This is of course in addition to your free baggage allowance. Medication can also be carried free of charge with a medical prescription. Please note that special medical baggage must contain exclusively medical aids or prescribed medication. In all other cases our standard baggage regulations apply. The carriage of special medical baggage is allowed in compliance with the security regulations and if transportation is possible for capacity reasons. Medical baggage is not calculated as part of the free baggage allowance. All medical aids must be booked at least 2 working days before departure for security reasons. Registration:, via agency@germania.ch Pregnancy Pregnant women may travel with us until the end of the 36th week of pregnancy upon presentation of a medical certificate (pregnancy record) that verifies the stage of pregnancy. Flying with children Baby on board (infants until the end of their second year) Infants sit on the lap of a parent throughout the flight. They are secured in place with a supplementary loop belt. Baby food and baby bottles that are required during the flight may be taken on board. They are excluded from the ban on liquids. Unaccompanied children Unaccompanied children (5 11 years of age) may travel upon presentation at check-in of the written agreement of a parent or legal guardian (form for parental agreement for unaccompanied children (5 11) and UM registration). This service is subject to a CHF fee per child per way. Please note that your children must carry your written declaration of consent with them. Young persons (12 17 years of age) travelling alone may travel upon presentation at check-in of the written agreement of a parent or legal guardian (form for parental agreement for young persons travelling alone (12 17)). Fee per flight: CHF 60 Registration:, via agency@germania.ch Child restraint systems (CRS) According to EU-OPS and EU-OPS 1.730, infants must be transported sat on the lap of an accompanying adult and secured by a supplementary loop belt, providing no other child restraint system is used. Alongside the securing of infants with supplementary loop belts, which are provided on board our aircraft, Germania Flug AG also accepts other child restraint systems for infants and children, provided these are certified, labeled and provided by the passengers themselves. Passengers can bring their own child seats for infants under the age of two for whom a seat has been booked, provided such child seats have been approved for flight travel and can be installed on the seats of Germania Flug AG s aircrafts. Installation of these child seats will be the passenger s responsibility. If required, Germania Flug AG s crew will be happy to assist. Registration:, via agency@germania.ch
