6 2009 JWA Passenger Survey Nearly 56% of intercept respondents cite leisure/pleasure as purpose of their trip 62% of intercept respondents were visitors to Orange County 53% of the telephone respondents reported household income of $100,000 or more 94% of telephone and 85% intercept respondents identified Convenient location as their reason for selecting JWA 96% of telephone respondents feel that JWA provides excellent travel services and is a great asset to Orange County or John Wayne Airport facilities and services are good and meet my travel needs 6

8 Self-select Security Screening Lanes TSA concept implemented at JWA in July 2008 Established passenger queuing lanes based on travel needs and knowledge: EXPERT: for the business traveler who flies several times a month CASUAL: for passengers who travel less frequently, but are familiar with the security screening process FAMILY/SPECIAL ASSISTANCE: for passengers traveling with small children, elderly passengers, and passengers who may need special assistance

21 Capital Improvement Program Economic Impact Analysis The Capital Improvement Program (CIP) will create a total economic effect (direct, indirect and induced) of more than $1 billion For every $1 invested in the CIP, more than $2 will be circulated into the local economy The CIP will create 6,670 jobs (400 directly at JWA) Spending on the CIP will peak at about $200 million in 2010
