17 Troutdale Airport Master Planning History 1942 US Department of Commerce, Civil Aeronautics Administration Throughout the 1950 s and 60 s Airport Master Plans were completed for Troutdale Airport 1979, 1990 and 2004: The Port, with the FAA, completed modern Master Plan studies for Troutdale Airport that included: Inventory of existing facilities Forecasts of aviation demand Alternatives for development Preferred Alternative 2004 Master Plan included Noise Compatibility analysis, financial management and Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) 17
