Established in 1980, AAMS is the longest-serving and most well established association representing the global air and critical care ground medical transport community. "Products and/or services" are defined as a manufacturer directly engaged in the manufacturing or development of helicopters, airplanes and/or ground ambulances, or affecting a certified product to the industry; a supplier or service group providing supplies or services for helicopter, airplane and/or ground ambulance operators; or a manufacturer of equipment integral to helicopter, airplane and/or ground ambulance operations. An employee is defined as anyone who works for your company including but not limited to: persons employed in your main location; consultants; and satellite office employees. AAMS estimates that 25% of your dues are not deductible as a business expense because of AAMS lobbying activities on the behalf of its members. International Discounts: Discounts of up to 20% off the standard dues rate will be available to members outside the United States if they are located in countries where the purchasing power of their currency is less than 80% of that in the United States. The discount will be calculated proportionally based on the comparison of purchasing power of the specific country with that of the US.
