3 Purpose Purpose?? To raise AEP awareness amongst the SACAA stakeholders: Building consensus and advocacy for AEP, and Giving a sneak-peak of the proposed AEP regulations. To outline environmental issues related to: airports and aircraft operations in the vicinity of the airports. 3

5 SACAA AEP SACAA main AEP emphasis has been on design, manufacturing, certification and registration responsibility of the Certification department. The AEP Dept. addresses AEP in the operations arena Proposals for amendment of regulations CAR 34; 36 and 139 relating to AEP submitted to the Minister in March
