1 A. General: SARI Part M Issue 2 dated 31 July 2017 includes inconsistency with other SARI Parts, incorrect references and omissions. NPA M-01-G intends to correct these defects. B. Consultation: To achieve optimal consultation SARI is publishing the draft NPA on its website: In parallel each CAA of the SARI members States is requested to circulate the draft NPA within their National Aviation Industry and to collect comments or request for changes. Comments should be provided within 8 weeks after the draft NPA has been published on the SARI website. All comments must be addressed to the SARI Coordinator at the following address: eric.dormoy@searif-sari.org who will distribute them to the SARI M WG members for review and evaluation. Should the evaluation leads to amend the draft NPA, the revised draft NPA will follow the same distribution and examination process as the initial draft, etc. 1

When an operator applies for a certificate for commercial operations, other than for commercial air transport, it shall: Reports shall be made as soon as practicable, but in any case within 72 hours of the person or organisation identifying the condition to which the report relates. The continuing airworthiness of aircraft, registered in Pakistan or registered in another ICAO Contracting State and used by an operator for which PCAA ensure surveillance of continuing airworthiness on behalf of this other ICAO Contracting State, and components for installation thereon shall be ensured in accordance with the provisions of this ANO. When an operator is required to hold a certificate for commercial operations, other than for commercial air transport, it shall: Reports shall be made as soon as practicable, but in any case within 48 hours of the person or organisation identifying the condition to which the report relates. 4

(i) In that case, the indirect approval procedure shall be established by the continuing airworthiness management organisation as part of the Continuing Airworthiness Management Exposition and shall be approved by the competent authority responsible for that continuing airworthiness management organisation. (ii) SUBPART G CONTINUING AIRWORTHINESS MANAGEMENT ORGANISATION the title(s) and name(s) of person(s) referred to in points M.A.706(a), M.A.706, M.A.706(d) and M.A.706(i); an organisation chart showing associated chains of responsibility between all the person(s) referred to in points M.A.706(a), M.A.706, M.A.706(d) and M.A.706(i). a list of the airworthiness staff referred to in point M.A.707, specifying, where applicable, the staff authorised to issue permits to fly in accordance with point M.A.711. For organisations extending airworthiness review certificates in accordance with points M.A.711(a)4 and M.A.901(f), the organisation shall nominate persons authorised to do so, subject to approval by the competent authority.
