CHAPTER 1. TYPE CERTIFICATION: 1.2 Design aspects of the appropriate airworthiness requirements The design aspects of the appropriate airworthiness requirements, used by a Contracting State for type certification in respect of a class of aircraft...shall be such that compliance with them will ensure compliance with the standards of... CS VLR.1 Applicability (See AMC VLR.1) This airworthiness code is applicable to very light rotorcraft (helicopters) with maximum certified take-off weights not exceeding 600 kg which: (a) Are of a simple design. The Safety objectives will be shared by all EASA Panels, discussed and recorded by a safety expert and coordinated with all EASA Panels. Safety objective will drive the scope of certification activities. Currently no approved Certification Specifications for products of the category of the S-100 available. 13 / 14
