Hand Baggage Non-Compliant Rates Non-compliant baggage fee is charged to passengers who do not comply with weight and dimension restrictions specified for hand baggage allowance. This fee is charged at the gates and is applicable on FJ's point to point routes. A piece weighing more than 30kg (66 lbs) will not be accepted as checked baggage, and will either need to be re-packed as separate piece or sent as Freight. Any piece exceeding the total dimensions will be charged the oversized/bulky item fee. And exceeding the weight of 23kg (50lbs) but less than 30kg (66lbs) will be charged the excess baggage rate. a) If FJ international & FJ domestic sectors are ticketed on the same ticket (FJ/260 paper), FJ's international baggage allowance will apply. b) If FJ international and FJ domestic are ticketed separately, baggage allowance shown on each ticket will apply. 3. If part of journey includes code share flights :- a) The marketing carrier (codeshare carriers) baggage rule will apply throughout the entire journey. CHECKED BAGGAGE ALLOWANCES Economy All classes not exceed 115cm (45in) *** Total dimensions are measured by adding together the height, width and depth of the bag All Fiji Link flights are weight restricted for safety reasons and depending on load; bags/surfboards etc may not be carried on the same flight as the passenger Note: 1. For passengers travelling to/from FJ international and connecting to/from Fiji Link domestic flights, the following rule will apply:- a) If FJ international & FJ domestic sectors are ticketed on the same ticket (FJ/260 paper), FJ's international baggage allowance will apply. b) If FJ international and FJ domestic are ticketed separately, baggage allowance shown on each ticket will apply. 2. For passengers on domestic travel connecting from an international flight, if part of journey includes code share flights:- a) The marketing carrier (codeshare carriers) baggage rule will apply throughout the entire journey. Within Fiji Up to 15kg (33lbs) 0kg (0lbs) plus 1 stroller b) For all other destinations, the DOT and MSC (Most significant carrier ) baggage rules applies throughout the entire journey. BULKY / OVERSIZED ITEMS CHARGE 1. Fiji Link charges FJD per item for bulky items which may include surf boards and golf clubs. This fee is in addition to any excess baggage fees that may apply. This fee is separate from FJ international bulky item charge. 2. Bulky items consist of any 'one' piece exceeding 158cm (62in) but not exceeding 277cm (109in) in total dimensions, (maximum weight of 23kg (50lbs)), which may include surfboards, golf bags and other equipment. 3.
