3 ~ DETAILED ITINERARY ~ WINGS OVER TANZANIA & ZANZIBAR Day 1 ARUSHA, TANZANIA On arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, proceed thru immigration and customs formalities, collect your bags an proceed into the arrivals hall to meet your driver/ guide for transfer to the hotel for overnight. Arusha Coffee Lodge Hidden amongst one of Tanzania s largest coffee plantations the Arusha Coffee Lodge is surrounded by some of Africa s most famous landscapes and national parks. Beautifully positioned below the rugged peaks of Mount Meru this exclusive, boutique hotel lodge has been designed around the farms original plantation homes, radiating the warmth and invitation of the old colonial plantation. It is the perfect sanctuary to immerse you in pure luxury. Walk across the manicured garden and into the coffee plantation, where paths lead through the coffee bushes to the 18 chalets, which are lovely red-brick buildings with terracotta-colored tin roofs. They are built in the style of old plantation houses and have lots of character. Once inside, these split-level rooms are spacious and very comfortable. They are furnished with a sumptuous double bed, a small lounge area and an en-suite bathroom. There is even a fire place which can be lit on cool nights. Day 2 & 3 TARANGARIE NATIONAL PARK Depart this morning for the airstrip and your private aircraft flight to Tarangarie National Park and two night stay. TARANGARIE TREE TOPS Many a childhood would have been spent playing in the world of make-believe. Within this imaginary existence, many of us will have climbed and played high up in the bows and branches and, for the lucky few, built a palace in the sky. It is this nostalgic sparkle that is all too visible in the eyes of the grown-ups who gaze upon Tarangire Treetops for the first time. Tarangire Treetops sits serenely in a private game reserve bordering the Tarangire National Park. As you arrive at the Lodge, you are immediately

4 greeted by a blaze of color and a host of smiles all of which belong to the local Maasai tribesmen who have become part of the enchanting story that is Tarangire Treetops. Centered about a Main Lodge which itself encases a thousand year-old baobab tree Tarangire Treetops comprises 20 tree houses all of which are perched high above the ground in the broad bows of Marula and Baobab trees. Tarangire is the sixth largest national park in Tanzania. The park is famous for its huge number of elephants, baobab trees and tree climbing lions. Visitors to the park can expect to see any number of resident zebra and wildebeest in addition to the less common animals. Home to more than 550 species, the park is a haven for bird enthusiasts who can expect to see dozens of species even in the dry season. The swamps are the focus of the largest selection of breeding birds anywhere in the world. Walking safaris and both day and night game drives are available. Other activities include Bush lunches and dinners, Sundowners, and tours of the local Maasai Village. The Maasai Village is about minutes drive from Treetops and gives a perfect insight to the life of the Maasai. Day 4 & 5 NGORONGORO HIGHLANDS Depart this morning for the airstrip and your private aircraft flight from Tarangarie to Manyara National Park. Enjoy a game driver before continuing to the Ngorongoro Highlands and your lodging for the next two nights. The Manor Crossing the Rift Valley and climbing the steppe onto the green and rolling hills south of the Ngorongoro Crater, there lies a truly undeniable surprise and one that will be a home-away-from-home. The Manor at Ngorongoro, with its 20 luxurious cottages and magnificent Main House, is one of the first safari lodges of its kind to blend East African hospitality with old-world Afro-European architecture and décor. Day 6 & 7 SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK After breakfast do a short road transfer to Manyara airstrip for your flight into the heart of the Serengeti at Lobo. Located in north west Tanzania the Serengeti is the ultimate wildlife show on earth. Across the globe authors and filmmakers have come to document the Annual Migration of hundreds of thousands of animals, but there is still only one way to understand and experience the true magnificence of this natural phenomena and that is to be part of it. SERENGETI MIGRATION CAMP (Optional - Pioneer Camp available) Serengeti Migration Camp is the embodiment of the camp experience. Located next to the famous Grumeti River which is home to resident hippos that bark and wallow their days away, Serengeti Migration Camp has become synonymous with low-impact high-action game viewing in a landscape that is untouched since the dawn of time. Day 8 / Extension Day 8-11 DEPARTURE OR ZANZIBAR EXTENSION After a morning activity and breakfast depart for the airstrip for your flight to Zanzibar and Pemba if at Fundu Lagoon) or depart from Arusha Airport. On arrival transfer to the lodge for the next four nights.
