In between you will sample the diversity of the Indonesian archipelago with excursions to Way Kambas National Park, the historic caldera of Anak Krakatua, and the rarely visited Karimunjawa National Park. You will experience a bustling Indonesian town Surabaya with opportunities to shop and eat locally. Disembark on two very different islands black volcanic Lombok and windswept Sumba. Enjoy some of Nusa Tenggara s best snorkeling at Pulao Alor before arriving in Darwin. Home will never be the same again! Day 1: Singapore Embark Coral Discoverer at 4pm and depart the harbour at 5pm > Captain s welcome drinks and Singapore skyline vista Day 2: Pulau Penuba, Indonesia Village life and local interaction > traditional martial arts display > visit Opium House Day 3: Pulau Belitung, Indonesia Welcome ceremony at Rainbow Beach, Tanjung Tinggi > rock hop painted beachboulders > explore undeveloped beachfront

2 Day 4: Way Kambas National Park, Indonesia Visit one of the oldest reserves in Indonesia > endeavour to spot endangered Sumatran elephants in the wild with a Park Ranger on a river cruise Day 5: Anak Krakatua, Indonesia Cruise the Sunda Strait that separates Sumatra and Java > Travel ashore to view (and hike!) Anak Krakatua, a young volcano by geological standards Day 6: Thousand Islands, Indonesia Discover the Thousand Islands, home to a multitude of fish and sea life > snorkel, dive or swim to your heart s content Day 7: At Sea, Indonesia Cruise the Java coast > enjoy on board facilities and information sessions prepared by our Expedition Team as we plan for the days ahead Day 8: Karimunjawa National Park, Indonesia Uncover Karimunjawa archipelago s pristine beaches and coral reefs > join numerous water activities > hike the low hills through lush forests

3 Day 9: Surabaya, Indonesia Explore Old Surabaya and her colonial past > stroll the alleys of Kampung Arab, the largest Arab District in Indonesia > experience the melting pot of Pabean Market > visit Chinatown and embrace the hustle and bustle > watch Potehi Puppets at the temple Day 10: Lombok, Indonesia Make landfall on the north shore of Lombok > join local transport to drive to the foothills of Mt Rinjani, Lombok s highest peak > walk through jungle to spectacular Sendang Gile Waterfall > look for monkeys and colourful birdlife > set sail towards Sumbawa Island Day 11: Pulau Moyo National Park, Indonesia Water activities in and over beautiful untouched coral reefs > swim and snorkel with white tip reef sharks > dive next to blue spotted stingrays > take to land walking through the rainforest identifying many exotic species from loggerhead turtles to deer > visit a traditional village with remains of an extinct megalithic culture Day 12: Komodo Island, Indonesia Uncover UNESCO World Heritage Komodo National Park > join local rangers on a guided walk to view Komodo dragons, the world s largest lizard > relax on Pink Beach and enjoy water activities > visit the Atlas Pearl Farm and see pearl propagation techniques > taste oyster sashimi Day 13: Sumba, Indonesia Visit a traditional Sumbanese village with unique peaked roof architecture > learn about marapu (religious) traditions > see the megalithic burial sites > observe famed Ikat weavers in action

4 Day 14: Kelimutu National Park, Indonesia Land on Flores and take a scenic drive to 1,639 metre Kelimutu volcano > local guides lead us up the slopes of the volcano, with regular stops to admire the view of the tri coloured lakes > photography opportunities abound Day 15: Pulau Alor, Indonesia Enjoy some of Nusa Tenggara s best snorkelling and diving over world class coral sea gardens > learn about indigenous tribal groups renowned for their Moko drum culture > visit a traditional village built halfway up the mountainside Day 16: At Sea/Expedition Island Stop Travel ashore at Pulau Kisar, our final Indonesian port of call > be welcomed by traditional dancers > set sail towards Darwin Day 17: At Sea, Indonesia A day of relaxation on board as we cruise across the Timor Sea > reminisce about adventures enjoyed with the Expedition Team and new friends > join the Captain and crew for Captain s farewell drinks Day 18: Darwin Welcome to Australia > our expedition concludes on arrival in Darwin at 8am
