Pemba Island located north of Zanzibar this island presents the opportunity to get away from the crowds and also experience some of the best diving in the Indian Ocean. Tanzania mainland located on the mainland a short drive up from Dar-es-salaam are some wonderful beaches and great properties. Much quieter than the islands of Zanzibar and Pemba. Day two: Transfer to the Arusha Airport (approx. 45 minutes) for the 13:00 flight to Serengeti NP. You will be collected by the Pioneer Camp 4x4 and do a game drive on the way back to camp. 14 The Roof of Africa Climbing Kilimanjaro Day one: Arrive at Kilimanjaro International airport & transfer to Lake Duluti Serena Hotel & overnight. Day two: Transfer to the Lemosho gate (approx. three hours drive) and register for the climb. Then drive another hour to the start of the trail. After your picnic lunch start your expedition with a four hour hike to the forest camp. Elevation 9,000 feet. Day three: After a 6:30 breakfast head out for Mount Ngare approx. four hours hiking. After lunch continue to Shira 1 Camp approx. three hours hiking. Elevation 12,000 feet. Day four: Today you will only be walking for approx. four hours in the morning from Sharia camp 1 to 2. The afternoon is at leisure. Elevation 12,535 feet. Day five: This morning you will hike up to the Lava Tower a freestanding rock 325 feet high. After lunch carry on the Barranco Camp. Total hiking time between five to seven hours. Elevations 12,959 feet. Day six: After breakfast you will have an acclimatization walk with a two hour hike to the Great Barranco Wall then continue up to Karanga Camp for lunch.
