1 LUXURY EXPLORER PACKAGE MOZAMBIQUE RIDING SAFARI With this package we aim to showcase the beauty of the sanctuary in all its forms. The culture, the local way of life, its natural beauty and wildlife, from the back of the horse. The area is particularly conducive to a health and wellness approach, due to the beauty of the landscape, fresh and healthy food produce, the diversity of watersports on offer. On such an active holiday, a good massage is much appreciated. That s why we have a masseuse on standby to rub away any tension in order to enjoy this adventure to the fullest. Our horses will lead you safely to the remotest spots in the sanctuary, swim the turquoise waters, and bring you close to its fantastic nature and animals. Rides are suited for anyone looking to explore nature in the most traditional way of motion, the horse! The duration of this itinerary is of 5 nights, 6 days. Guests can join at any given point, so maximum duration is 10 days, and minimum 4. The perfect add on to an African holiday!

2 Where we are: Vilanculos Coastal Wildlife Sanctuary Mozambique The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page. St. Augustine With 30,000 hectares of both land and water, the wildlife sanctuary s reach is so vast it even incorporates the southern tip of the bazaruto archipelago. The sanctuary is regarded as one of the most bio-diverse on the continent. Compromised of mudflats, mangrove swamps, coastal dunes and coral reefs it is home to burchells zebra, waterbuck, giraffe, nyala, eland, wildebeest on land and leatherback sea turtles and the rare and endangered Dugong amongst many other marine species. We offer four day itineraries tailored to exceed expectations when it comes to combining adventure with luxury. Each day is different, and you are welcome to join at any given point, and stay on for up to ten days. Think service at its best, nature raw and un spoilt kick off your shoes and enjoy something different from the saddle every day, with your personal thrapist ready to give you your daily massage after your round of horse riding and water sports. 4 SAMPLE ITINERARY Note: this itinerary is subject to change depending on weather and or animal movement Day 1: Arrival by boat, sundowner ride and cocktails. Arrival at Vilanculos airport at mid day. A member of our team will pick you up to take you to the beach where the boat awaits. A 30 minute boat ride with the chance to see marine life, will take you to Dugong beach lodge in time for a wonderful late lunch prepared by our skilled chef. After a brief of the days to come, you will depart on an introductory sundowner ride. Reception cocktails and candle lit dinner at the lodge. Night: Dugong beach lodge Day 2: Full day ride with lunch at local village, watersports. Breakfast on the deck, overlooking the beach. The horses will be ready for a ride that will take you to the local village, where you can enjoy the local culture, with a traditionally cooked meal. Maybe you will be lucky enough to encounter some wildlife such as waterbuck, giraffe or other iconic creatures on the way. You will continue to the beach, for some swimming with the horses and return to the lodge. Upon arrival you will be received with cold hand towels, at the lodge. In the evening you might want to just relaxing on the beach or pool. Dinner will be served at the lodge. Night Dugong beach lodge. Day 3: Massage, afternoon ride to the fisher boat sleep-out spot. (Lighthouse beach spot). Today you will will enjoy the beautiful setting of the lodge, maybe sleep in a bit and engage in some water sports. Your private therapist will be ready for your treatment either on your deck with views to the beach, or at the spa. After lunch you will set out for your afternoon ride, which will take you to a far spot on the sanctuary, where the fishermen and team will have set up local fishing boats ready for a night under the stars. Your horses will stay close to you for the night, while you emerge into the natural surroundings, by a seafood catch of the day barbeque before go to sleep under the African starry sky. Night: Local fisher boat. Night; Under the stars Day 4: Full day ride to beach picnic spot, water sports from deep sea (boat), ride back to lodge, massage. After a light breakfast, you will mount your horses, to take a route along the coast to a beautiful picnic setup. While you are having lunch, the horses will rest in their mobile paddock as you drive out with the boat which is waiting, to sunbathe, swim or snorkel/kayak. When you are ready, you will ride inland back to the lodge as the tide rises. Night: Dugong Beach Lodge Day 5: Morning and afternoon ride, massage and sundowners. Breakfast at the lodge, and and onto the horses. A morning ride in search for animals, where you will ride along the beach and inland, climbing some sand banks to reach a lookout point with spectacular views. Lunch will be served back at the lodge. After freshening up, and a massage or some time on the beach, you will depart to a beautiful spot overlooking the floodplains to enjoy some sundowner drinks at Muco viewpoint, while watching some game on the flood pleins. Return at sunset. Night: Dugong beach lodge Day 6: Early morning breakfast and an optional ride. Departure. for those staying on, program of day 1 will apply.
