It is located on the Zambezi River on the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe. It is neither the highest nor the widest waterfall, it is the largest. It is 5,604 ft wide and 350 ft tall, forming the largest sheet of falling water in the world. Mount Kilimanjaro, Tanzania Mount Kilimanjaro is the tallest mountain in Africa and the highest free-standing mountain in the world at 19,341 feet above sea level. Serengeti National Park, Tanzania The Serengeti National Park is regarded as the best wildlife reserve in Africa. Its annual wildlife migration includes over 2 million wildebeest, 250,000 zebra, and other animals such as gazelles. It is home to more than 3,000 lions, 1,000 leopards, 5,000 elephants, about 31 black rhinos, and many other animals like buffalo, giraffes, hippos, and crocodiles. Amboseli National Park, Kenya Amboseli offers some of the best opportunities to see African animals because its vegetation is sparse due to the long dry months. It is home to wild animals, which include elephants, cape buffalo, impala, lion, cheetah, hyena, giraffe, zebra, and wildebeest, among other African animals. Madagascar Madagascar is the largest of Indian Ocean islands and is the world s 4th largest island. Madagascar s wildlife is so unique that 80% of it is only found on this island. Its national tree is the Baobab. The Baobab tree is sometimes said to be a tree with roots pointing into the sky, or the upside down tree.
