Day 2: Sunday 1 September 2019 Cape Town Welcome to South Africa, and to the cosmopolitan city of Cape Town. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel for a welcome briefing from your Tour Director. Three Night Stay: Winchester Mansions Day 3: Monday 2 September 2019 Cape Town (FB,L) Today, explore the beautiful Cape Peninsula. Enjoy the spectacular views from the summit of Cape Point which looks out over the Cape of Good Hope, then visit Boulders Beach, home to the protected land based colony of African penguins. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in Simons Town, where southern right whales can often be seen in the bay (seasonal). Day 5: Wednesday 4 September 2019 Cape Town Knysna (FB) Travel through the mountains of the Western Cape, passing through Grabouw, famous for apple production and vineyards, then along the beautiful Garden Route to Knysna where your hotel is located on the waterfront overlooking Knysna lagoon. There are plenty of quality restaurants in the area for you to enjoy a free night dining. Kuzuko Lodge lies in a private concession to the north of Addo Elephant National Park, the third largest national park in South Africa. This finely tuned ecosystem is sanctuary to elephant, lion, buffalo, black rhino, spotted hyena, leopard, a variety of antelope and zebra species, as well as the unique Addo flightless dung beetle, found almost exclusively in Addo.
