Jodhpur (21 Jan 2016) Arrival at Jodhpur Airport After completing the arrival formalities our representative will be waiting outside the airport for your Private Car transfer to your Hotel in Jodhpur Check in to your Hotel Ajit Bhawan Palace. After checking in to your Hotel and at your leisure proceed for sightseeing of Jodhpur by Private Car Jodhpur, Jodhpur is the second biggest city in Rajasthan. Since it lies on the geographic centre of the state, it has emerged as an important tourist transit base.this city is often referred to as the Gateway to Thar because it is located right on the border of the Thar Desert. It is also popularly called the Sun City because it experiences bright and sunny days throughout the year. Another name for this city is Blue City because the houses around the Mehrangarh Fort are all painted blue. 2 Brief Introduction of the places suggested above: Mehrangarh Fort: Mehrangarh Fort has been in existence since 1459 and is one of the most astounding constructions and architectural marvels from its day and age. The towering building has extremely high walls and gates, and the closer it is explored, the smaller you begin to feel! Mandore Gardens: The Mandore Gardens are a famous collection of reputable memorials, temples and creative gardens of rock statues. This attraction is visited by a copious amount of curious and excited visitors wanting to relax among the great sights. Many photographers have achieved some of the greatest photos in this inspiring atmosphere. Clock Tower and Markets: This famous structure known as the Clock Tower can be found in the ever growing, effervescent Sadar Market. The mixture of shopping excitement as well as the view of this old city landmark is an absolute delight. The Sadar Market is extremely full of scents, colour and vibrancy, with some of the most unique items for sale that will truly make you want to purchase it all! It is here that you can find traditional souvenirs, antiques, art, furniture and carpets, and classic jewellery. Jaswant Thada: The Jaswant Thada is an absolutely calming and soothing building to lay your eyes upon, thus making it one of the most visited attractions in Jodhpur. Constructed entirely of a milky-white marble, the whimsical essence of this memorial can be felt by all in the surrounding area. Chamunda Mata Temple: The Chamunda Mata Temple, situated on the great Chamunda hill, is one of the most enthralling and interactive attractions in the entire city. Jodhpur/Jaisalmer (23 Jan 2016) After breakfast and check out from the Hotel in Jodhpur proceed to Jaisalmer by Car approx. 290kms (5Hrs drive). On your arrival and check in to your Hotel Suryagarh in Jaisalmer and at your leisure proceed for the sightseeing of Jaisalmer. Jaisalmer, also known as the Golden City, is one of the most famous cities in the royal state of Rajasthan. Located in the middle of the desert, the city is famous for its rich heritage. Jaisalmer is also a district and is spread over 1429 sq km sharing boundaries with Bikaner in the north, Pakistan in the west and south-west, Barmer and Jodhpur on the south and Jodhpur in the east.the economy of the district largely depends on the tourism industry which has grown rapidly due to the tremendous efforts of Rajasthan tourism. 4 Brief Introduction of the places suggested above: Sam Sand Dunes: A rare desert area which lies just in the edge of Jaisalmer and is also rated as top rated tourist destinations in Rajasthan, Sam Sand Dunes are a simply amazing. These dunes are Kms away from the golden city (Jaisalmer) Jaisalmer Fort: The Jaisalmer Fort is located in the heart of the city and is known for its miniatures, architecture and bazaars. This fort was built in 1156 by a Bhati Rajput ruler Jaisal, atop the Trikura hill. About a quarter of the population of Jaisalmer live inside this fort. The fort is also called the Sonar Quila and is regarded as 'The Pride of Jaisalmer'. Jain Temples: The Jain Temples are one of the oldest temples in Jaisalmer, which are situated inside the Jaisalmer Fort complex. These temples have archaeological and religious significance attached to them. The group of temples in the fort were built between 12th and 15th centuries. These Jain Temples are dedicated to different Jain Tirthankars. Bada Bagh: Bada Bagh or Big Garden is located 6 km from Jaisalmer on the Ramgarh road. During the 16th century, this garden was commissioned by Maharawal Jait Singh and was completed by his son Lunakaran. This garden includes a tank and a dam, along with a Govardhan Stambh (pillar). The pillar was constructed for commemorating the construction of the nearby tank and dam. Patwon-ki-Haveli: Patwon-ki-Haveli is situated in a narrow lane near the Patwa Complex. It is the first haveli to have been erected in Jaisalmer. This haveli is essentially a cluster of five havelis, which was constructed in 1805 by Guman Chand Patwa. A rich trader, Guman Chand Patwa constructed five separate storeys for his five sons.

5 Government Museum: The Government Museum is located on the Police Line Road, which is near the Moomal hotel. Established in 1984, this museum has a rich collection of marine and wood fossils. It also features some of the rarest sculptures from Kiradu and Lodurva townships of the 12th century. Overnight in Jaisalmer. Day 4.
