4 Day 1 2: Burley House, Lilongwe Welcome to Malawi! Upon arrival at the Lilongwe International Airport, you will be welcomed by your Malawian Style Guide. After greetings we will start driving to Burley House in Lilongwe for your accommodation. Set in beautifully established gardens in Lilongwe s prestigious residential Area 43, Burley House offers corporate and leisure travelers an idyllic retreat in a friendly, informal atmosphere. Burley House extends all the facilities expected by today's traveler coupled with the exclusivity, serenity and security. Accommodating a maximum of 18 guests in 3 Suites and 5 Executive Rooms, Burley House is popular with international and local business travelers needing comfortable overnight accommodation as well as long term stay. The Suites and Executive Rooms are extremely spacious with fitted carpets and en-suite bathrooms.

5 Day 2 4: Madzeka & Chinzama Hut, Mulanje Mountain After breakfast at Burley house, your journey heading to Mulanje will begin. This is where you will start your 2 day trek of the stunning Mulanje Mountain. The first days trek is to Madzeka Chalet and then you will continue to Chinzama Chalet. The first day s hike is a slow but very challenging 5hr walk, followed by a flatter 4 hours hike the next day. Along the way we will pass and enjoy several stunning waterfalls and rock pools. Please be aware some of the walk is very hard work so be sure to conserve your energy and have lots of water. We will stop for lunch and a couple of swims en route. While at the camp; feel free to explore the area, swim in the rock pools nearby or just relax and appreciate the surroundings.

6 Day 4 6: MS Zomba Cottage, Zomba After breakfast you will make your way back down the mountain and head towards Zomba Plateau. You should be in Zomba in time for a late lunch. In Zomba you will be based in the cosy Malawian Style cottage. A home away from home, this simple cosy cottage is a great escape. Easily the best location on the mountain, just 5 minutes walk from the Zomba Dam and horse stables. There are two bedrooms, one double and one twin room. There will be a member of staff on hand cook, clean, milk the cows for fresh milk and help out however necessary to make this stay as relaxing and care free as can be. The cottage has a newly refurbished bathroom with shower and bath, modern kitchen with all cooking equipment, DSTV and Broadband WIFI cards for Internet connection are available for purchase from the cottage staff.

7 Day 6 8: CAMPING - Mvuu Camp, Liwonde National Park After breakfast at the Zomba Cottage, your Malawian Style guide will pick you up and the journey to Mvuu Camp in Liwonde will begin, which is about a 2hr drive. Mvuu Camp overlooks a broad stretch of the Shire River (pronounced Shiree), with a profusion of hippos, crocodiles and the amazing birdlife of the Liwonde National Park. An impressive thatched dining and lounge area is situated nearby, offering a magnificent vista of the Shire River. Activities at Mvuu Camp revolve around boating trips on the Shire River and game drives (morning and afternoon/evening). Nature walks and bike rides are also incredibly popular.

8 Day 8 10: Domwe Island, Cape Maclear After breakfast and an early morning game drive, it is time to head towards the Cape Maclear lakeshore and Domwe Island. Time for some sun! Get back to basics at Domwe Island Adventure Camp. Simple yet exclusive. Domwe lies behind a small beach on the island s west side. Accommodation consists of three fully-furnished safari tents and two tent sites, complemented by a dining area with bar and a water sport gazebo.

9 Day 10-12: Malawian Style Lake Cottage, Cape Maclear After breakfast, it is time to head back to shore where your accommodation will be at the fantastic Cottage right on the shore of Cape Maclear. Despite the Lake being right on the doorstep this cottage also has the luxury of a private pool and large garden to enjoy. With the cottage totally taken care of by the staff this is a wonderful play to relax. All meals will be prepared by the cottage chef and promise to be flavourful and fresh.the fish will be straight from the lake and even the bread is freshly baked. Meals can be enjoyed either in the dining room or at the outside eating area overlooking the lake. How you choose to spend your time is entirely up to you; meal times can be flexible and we will be at your disposal for use of the boats to explore the lake and partake in fishing or snorkelling. If you re craving adrenaline we will be happy to take you tubing, wake boarding or water skiing! We recommended finishing your days with sundowners on the boats before dinner.

10 Day 12 14: Bua River Lodge, Nkhotakota After breakfast it is time to head further north to Bua River Lodge in Nkhotakota Wildlife Reserve. On the banks of the beautiful Bua River in Nkhotakota Wildlife Reserve, Central Malawi, Bua River Lodge offers fine, en-suite, tented accommodation to a very high standard but at moderate prices. Bua River Lodge is already highly acclaimed for the friendliness of their staff, the quality of the accommodation, the standard of service and excellent food!

11 Day 14 16: Luwawa Forest Lodge, Viphya After breakfast the journey heading up north continues, further up to Viphya, where you will be based at Luwawa Forest Lodge. The Lodge is situated in a forest reserve with a combination of pine and indigenous woodland. The lodge contains most things that you would require for a relaxing stay, including a sauna. There is plenty of room in the dining area of the lodge and all the food is freshly prepared using fresh organic vegetables from a vegetable garden. The staff takes great pride in producing wholesome, homely and very tasty organic meals for everyone to enjoy. Breakfast, lunch and evening meals are served but you can also order afternoon snacks if required. The estimated time of arrival at the lodge is around lunch time, you will have the afternoon to explore and enjoy the many activities on offer such as biking, hiking, nature trails, rock climbing, abseiling and many more.

12 Day 16 17: Matunkha, Rumphi After breakfast it is time to head further north to Matunkha in Rumphi. Feel welcome in the warm heart of Rumphi Matunkha Safari camp is a part of Matunkha centre, situated just outside Rumphi on the way to Bolero. During your stay activities can be organized for both short and long stay visitors, such as cultural tours, hiking tours and safari trips to Vwaza, Nyika and South Luangwa. The accommodation is in a nice and peaceful environment you can choose to pitch your tent or stay in one of the bedrooms or occupy one a traditional roundavels or wooden chalets each sleeping 2 persons. The Restaurant is a warm combination of friendly Malawian atmosphere and professional services with serving international cuisine.

13 Day 17 19: Chelinda Camp As soon as you are done with breakfast, your guide will pick you up and drive you over to Chelinda, an alpine experience, unique on the African continent. Located high on the Nyika Plateau within Nyika National Park, Chelinda Camp overlooks a crystal-clear dam with panoramic views of rolling hills, isolated ridges and open high-altitude with a rich experience of grasslands, leopards to orchids. Accommodation at Chelinda Camp consists of two options. There are four chalets which have two bedrooms, a bathroom, lounge, dining area with a fireplace and a small kitchen. There are also six en-suite rooms with twin beds, which share a dining, bar and lounge area complete with luxurious furnishings and an inviting fireplace for those cosy nights. Warm clothing should be packed as nights and early mornings on the plateau get chilly.

14 Day 19 20: Back at Matunkha Lodge Day 20 22: Kande Beach Resort After your breakfast at Matunkha in Rumphi, you will head South towards Nkhata-Bay to Kande Beach on the lake Malawi shore half way between Nkhatabay and Dwangwa in Malawi`s Northen region. The accommodation is varied and suited to all budgets ranging from camping and dorms to beach chalets and en-suite rooms with full facilities and self catering is also available. Kande beach is one of the best places to chill out and relax along the shores of Lake Malawi, with clear blue water that is safe from parasites and pollution, white golden sand that is clean and soft to touch and safe swimming with shallow depth and free of rocks or obstacles. The place has a selection of watersport activities available at the beach. Canoes, Pedalos and catamarans can be hired by the hour. Snorkeling can be arranged by the boat.

15 Day 22: Lilongwe Sadly all good things must come to an end, today it is time to journey on home. You will be transferred to Lilongwe International Airport, where you will connect your flight back home.
