We have miles of groomed cross country ski trails outside our front door and some of the best alpine skiing just a short drive up the road at the Lake Louise Ski Resort. I would also encourage you to make reservations for the activities and restaurants you are interested in early, to ensure availability. Our menu captures the true essence of traditional Italian cuisine and is crafted using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Our specialty is a three course Esperienza Cucina Italiana, featuring refreshing, Mediterranean-style appetizers and hearty, flavourful roasts. A 24-hour cancellation policy applies for dinner and a valid credit card number is required to secure a reservation. Located on the lobby level of the Mount Temple Wing. *December 24 Two or three course Italian inspired specials, in addition to regular menu VICTORIA BALLROOM With authentic décor, floor to ceiling windows and a great view of Lake Louise, the Victoria Ballroom is the perfect place to enjoy the extensive and elaborate holiday buffets. Options for children are showcased at a level where they can reach and serve themselves. Special buffets will feature live entertainment and a celebratory cocktail upon arrival. A 24-hour cancellation policy applies for buffets and a valid credit card number is required to secure a reservation. Picnic lunches and boxed meals are available on request. Coffee lovers can enjoy a freshly brewed cup of coffee or our baristas would be pleased to prepare an espresso, cappuccino or specialty coffee for you. Built in 1996, in honour of the Brewster Cowboys from over 100 years ago, the Dance Barn provides authentic Western atmosphere and entertainment. Their rustic western facilities make for an unforgettable Western Canadian experience. Buffet features the Brewster Hip of Beef, baked potatoes, beans, salad and dessert. With more than 70 KMs of cross country trails, Lake Louise is Canada s cross country skiing destination that is begging to be discovered. Book a lesson with one of our Mountain Adventure Guides or explore on your own. Contact the Concierge for a copy of our cross-country ski map. Ski rentals are available from the rental store in the hotel lobby. SKATING ON LAKE LOUISE The spectacular Victoria Glacier and snow-frosted Rocky Mountains provide the backdrop for one of the highest complimentary skating rinks in Canada: the frozen jewel of Lake Louise. Skate rentals available at the rental store in the hotel lobby. SNOWSHOEING Take to the outdoors and explore our backyard on showshoes! The vast area of Lake Louise offers the opportunity for endless adventures. Whether you choose to venture out on your own or take a Mountain Heritage Guide, there is no doubt that you will enjoy your winter adventure in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. HOTEL HISTORY AND KITCHEN TOUR Complimentary Since 1890, the Chateau has played a considerable role in the colorful history of Canada s Western Mountain Region and we want to share the rich heritage with you. Following a hotel history talk, you will be taken to the heart of the hotel to get a sneak peak of how our busiest kitchen is run, and receive a sweet sample from the Chef. Children suggested ages eight and older. (Maximum 25 people). JEWELRY MAKING WORKSHOP 75 minute activity $25 per bracelet, necklace or earrings made Join us to create your own beautiful necklace or bracelet. Everything you require is provided, with tons of beads and findings to choose from. You will be given some instructions and examples of possible patterns to inspire you. We will be there to assist you at the end to tie the second and final clasp. The quality of beads as well as designs are created for all ages and genders, allowing everyone to create a stunning piece. Children must be over six years of age. MEET BOW THE BEAR Complimentary Bring your camera and we will snap a picture of you with Bow the Bear.

14 MOVIE NIGHT Complimentary Sit back in our comfy bean bags and watch the movie feature of the night, while enjoying complimentary movie theater popcorn. SANTA S COMING TO TOWN Complimentary Santa will be arriving by sleigh at the front of the hotel to visit all the good girls and boys. Tell him your last minute wishes and he may give you a Christmas surprise! WINTER CRAFT TIME $20 per child $5 per supervising adult, includes hot chocolate and cookies Everyone will have the opportunity to create their very own Lake Louise souvenir! Using various crafts including macaroni, beads, sparkles, glitter and whatever else they can find in our crazy craft closet, you will be able to create an individual memory of your very own! 16 CAMPFIRE AND GAMES $15 Children 6-13 We re heading outside for a night time campfire. We ll sing songs, tell stories, play games and even roast some marshmallows! Once the sun goes down, we can head back inside to play on our indoor climbing wall! Supervised activity. (Maximum 10 children). CHOIR PRACTICE Complimentary Children 5-12 Join us to celebrate the Festive Season through song. Children will practice holiday favorites and showcase their talent with the hotel choir on Christmas Eve! Supervised activity, although parents are welcome to stay and sing too. (Maximum 20 people). FROSTED FUN $15 Children 6-13 Our backyard is your backyard! What s more fun than heading outdoors with friends? Children will get the chance to experience various winter games and sledding outdoors. Afterward, they will head indoors to warm up and play games in our Activity Center. (Maximum 10 children) PAJAMA PARTY $15 Children 6-13 Come join us and other children in the playroom as we snuggle up with pillows, blankets and bean bag chairs to watch a movie and eat popcorn! Children will have the opportunity to play board games and cards before settling in to watch the movie. Be sure you wear your PJ s! (Maximum 10 children) PHOTO SCAVENGER HUNT $15 Children 6-13 Lake Louise is known for its beauty and here is your opportunity to capture it! Every kid will be provided with a digital camera and a list of photo objectives to discover. At the end, pick your best photo to be framed and all others will be ed to you so you can share them with your family and friends. (Maximum 10 children).

18 POWDERFEST SNOWSHOEING Adults $65 Children 8-12 $30 Winter is king amid the peaks of Banff National Park. With an average annual snowfall of 5 m / 16 ft this area is superb to try this ancient and efficient mode of travel. If you can walk, you can snowshoe! After gearing up and having a brief introduction on the basics, we will venture into the forest. Learn how to read the tracks of different animals and discover how they have adapted to survive the harsh conditions. Snowshoes included. CROSS COUNTRY SKI LESSONS Adults $49 Children 8-12 $25 Imagine skiing along a quiet forest trail surrounded by mountains blanketed in snow and ice. Before you hit the trails take a lesson to fine tune your skiing abilities. Tailored to those who have never been on cross country skis or advanced skiers seeking to improve their technique. Ski rentals not included, but are available to rent at the rental store in the hotel lobby. NIGHT OWL SNOWSHOE Adults $49 Children 8-12 $25 Secret spots and unique discoveries await us after dark. Journey into the woods on snowshoes and enter a world of stillness and mystery. If the skies are clear, we will take the time to learn some of the great constellations that wheel overhead: Cassiopeia, the Great Bear and Orion the Hunter. Snowshoes included. JOHNSTON CANYON ICEFALLS Adults $65 Children 8-12 $30 Discover a hidden and mysterious frozen world. Marvel at stilled waterfalls, dazzling pillars of blue and explore the surprising magic of this winter wonderland. Our day begins with a 30 minute drive to the trailhead located on the scenic Bow Valley Parkway. After donning special ice cleats, we journey up the lower canyon on numerous suspended catwalks to reach the Lower Falls. We continue our trek onward and upward with numerous photo opportunities until we arrive at the grotto of the spectacular Upper Falls. Transportation and ice cleats included.
