Campers may travel back in time to the Stone Age, be captured by pirates on the high seas, or attempt to solve a Whodunit mystery. Every session is sure to be filled with adventure, intrigue, discovery, and memories to last a lifetime. Special Events After dinner each night, members of the Camp community participate in a special Evening Program. Some of these programs are camp-wide, while others are unit bonding time or split seniors and juniors into activities designed for their age levels. Evening programs promote teamwork and camaraderie and hold enjoyment for everyone! Past events have included campfires, Capture the Flag, Get to Know Your Counselor, and the Talent Show (two-week sessions only). Campers can also enjoy daytime special events at the waterfront and playing fields. Sunny days are perfect for festivities on the beach, country fairs, or an all-camp Olympics. During each session campers will experience Canoe Races, a friendly competition where the Girls take on the Boys in one junior and one senior race using our six 10-passenger war canoes! Chapel During two-week sessions, members of the Camp community gather for a nondenominational Chapel put on by the staff. This is a relaxing time to reflect on experiences at Camp while taking a break from play. It is also a time to mentally prepare for the rest of the session, especially the forthcoming overnight hiking adventure.

Any white-water enthusiast would love to be on this trip tackling Class I to V rapids. No experience required, just an eagerness to get wet and ride the waves. Supported by a van, we ll travel to the Cheat and New Rivers of West Virginia, and to Pennsylvania s famous Youghigheny River. Run some of the finest white-water rivers in the southeast and learn to read the water. Try white-water kayaking, rafting, and play boating with new friends. We camp at state parks and campgrounds. Kayak Lake George End to End July 17 22; Paddle all 32 miles of one of the northeast s most beautiful waterways. The journey begins at the southern end of Lake George at Million Dollar beach and then heads north past scenic bays and majestic mountains. We camp among the hundreds of state-owned islands while seeking hidden natural treasures that have made Lake George one of the most popular lakes in the Adirondacks. Our objective is to reach the northern end of the lake at the town of Ticonderoga. Adirondack Voyageurs July (Ages 13+ Rating B) Explore the Adirondacks the way generations have before through the lakes and rivers in the Adirondack Lakes Region. Camping along the waterways as we go, this is a true Adirondack adventure born more than a century ago by early Adirondack guides.
