2 Definitions 1 In this order: SLIAMMON FOREST AREA ORDER "Crown land", "Crown timber" and "timber sales manager" have the same meaning as in section 1 of the Forest Act; "forest agreement" means an agreement referred to in section 12 of the Forest Act in the form of (a) a licence, (b) a permit, other than a road permit, or (c) an agreement; "forest area" means the established under section 2; "minister" means the minister responsible for the administration of the Forest Act and includes a person designated in writing by that minister. 2 The is established consisting of the Crown land outlined in heavy black and shaded grey in Schedules 1 to 10 of the maps labelled "Sliammon Forest Area", on the digital file kept by GeoBC, Ministry of Forests, Lands and Natural Resource Operations, with the file name Sliammon_FA_ New forest agreements prohibited 3 The minister or a timber sales manager must not enter into a forest agreement that grants rights to harvest Crown timber within the forest area unless the forest agreement is entered into with the Sliammon First Nation or its representative.
