2 Definitions 1 In this order: SLIAMMON FOREST AREA ORDER "Crown land", "Crown timber" and "timber sales manager" have the same meaning as in section 1 of the Forest Act; "forest agreement" means an agreement referred to in section 12 of the Forest Act in the form of (a) a licence, (b) a permit, other than a road permit, or (c) an agreement; "forest area" means the established under section 2; "minister" means the minister responsible for the administration of the Forest Act and includes a person designated in writing by that minister. 2 The is established consisting of the Crown land outlined in heavy black and shaded grey in Schedules 1 to 10 of the maps labelled "Sliammon Forest Area", on the digital file kept by GeoBC, Ministry of Forests, Lands and Natural Resource Operations, with the file name Sliammon_FA_ New forest agreements prohibited 3 The minister or a timber sales manager must not enter into a forest agreement that grants rights to harvest Crown timber within the forest area unless the forest agreement is entered into with the Sliammon First Nation or its representative. Cancellation and repeal 4 The forest area is cancelled, and this order is repealed, on March 31, of 2
