Due to staffing issues, we are unsure when this program will come online at this time. Rock climbing/canyoneering: anticipated for 2013 Hiking/Interpretive/Educational: Anticipated for This would cover any hiking-based tours, such as nature walks, photography, art classes, and other educational programs. Transit/transportation: The District is currently looking into a national program that can provide funding to develop partnerships for transit systems that access the national forest. This program would allow us to develop something outside the outfitter/guide program and policies, which would not require a prospectus. However, the District also sees the potential for transportation opportunities under the outfitter/guide program. If the District pursues these, it will likely be in Details & Updates: * Commercial activities including tours to vortex sites, guided hikes, etc. on the Forest Service Land requires permits.
