Accommodation The resort is spread on a sprawling, well-landscaped location with a total of just 12 cottage suites set in warm ambience and offers enchanting views of the locale. The limited number of cottages gives you a thoroughly private and an intimate experience during your stay with us. 2a : Facilities & Amenities The resort offers following facilities and amenities Each cottage is of 1200 sq ft area with double bedrooms. One bedroom is furnished with a king size double cot and attached rest room while the second bedroom has two individual large size single cot with the rest room adjacent to it. All rooms are furnished with mirror & wardrobe in the dressing area. Dining area with dining table & chairs, a refrigerator & a kettle for boiling drinking water in every cottage. Drawing / Living area provided with comfortable upholstery to seat 5 people & LCD TV connected to satellite / cable TV connection. 24 hr check in. Intercom facility.

Attractions The hill station of Yelagiri in Tamil Nadu is a cluster of 14 villages spread across 29 square kilometers, located 3,460 feet above sea level. The drive to the hills through 14 hairpin bends opens up to beautiful mountain landscapes; at every twist and turn, the city seems to fade away a little more. The first thing that hits you on arrival at Yelagiri is the lack of noise pollution. The beautiful rustic surroundings are extraordinarily quiet. The smell of mango and jackfruit plantations is diluted by the subtle fragrances of fresh foliage. You suddenly realize how close you are to nature. Punganoor Lake & Park The lake at the centre of Yelagiri offers rides on pedal and manned rowing boats. The lake is surrounded by a beautiful garden, with a children's park & play area. A good place to spend your first day in Yelagiri. Nature Park "The Nature Park" is a 10-acre garden well maintained with beautiful landscaping for a pleasant experience. The park is a rainbow of stunning flowers during the peak season. Other attractions in the park are an aquarium, an artificial waterfall, a musical fountain, etc., Swamimalai At 4,338 feet, this is the highest point and popular trekking area. Most visitors to Yelagiri Hills, who have trekking in mind, often climb up Swamimalai. It is an easy trek along a muddy path starting from the lake, which is about 3 km long and pretty scenic too. The Swamimalai temple on top offers beautiful views of the countryside. Herbal Farm Near Punganoor lake a Herbal Farm is being maintained by the forest department, where rare herbs with medicinal values are grown for Ayurvedic and Siddha medicines. Velavan (Murugan) temple Dedicated to Lord Murugan, the Velavan temple is again on a hill top and offers splendid views of the landscape below. Every year during the month of July the people living in Yelagiri Hills celebrate the Velavan temple festival, which is a special attraction for tourist visiting during that period. Observatory Kavalur: The second biggest solar observatory in south Asia is situated in Kavalur, 65 km from Yelagiri. You need permission to visit the observatory. Jalagamparai Falls The River Attaaru runs through the valleys of Yelagiri Hills, and flows over at the village of Jadaiyanoor to form the waterfall. It's a great spot for a day-long picnic. The water at the falls largely depends on yelagiri's rainfall, hence enquire before heading off to the waterfall.

4 4a: Special attractions Hogenakkal Hogenakkal Falls or Hogenakal Falls is a waterfall on the river Kaveri. It is located in the Dharmapuri district of Tamil Nadu, about 150 km from Yelagiri. It is sometimes referred to as the "Niagara of India". With its fame for medicinal baths and hide boat rides, it is a major site of tourist attraction. Carbonatite rocks in this site are considered to be the oldest of its kind in South Asia and one of the oldest in the world. A separate one day trip from yelagiri is worth visiting. The Golden Temple of 'Sripuram This temple is a spiritual park situated at the foot of a small range of green hills in a place known as "Tirumalaikodi " in the city of Vellore about 70 km from Yelagiri. This was inaugurated on August The salient feature of Sripuram is the Lakshmi Narayani temple or Mahalakshmi temple with Gold covering located on 100 acres of land.
