UMBWE ROUTE Umbwe rute is amng the rute t ascend Munt Kilimanjar shrtest but steepest at the suthern glacier. T climb this rute a climber must be pre-aclimatized befre because yu get t the high altitude fr a shrt distance which may reduce yur ability n respiratin and ther bdy mechanisms. Descend t Stella Pint, then dwn the scree slpes befre finally getting back t Barafu Camp where we Duritin: 3 t 5 hurs We ll trek up thrugh the Karanga Valley; the trail turns steadily uphill, fllwing the lava ridge t the Barafu camp. The temperature will grw clder and the landscape mre sparse as we near Barafu Camp. Barafu Camp is set n a small, expsed flat area n a

This will be the hardest day in yur life time and it will take 13 t 15 hurs t ascend and descend. We ll start early in the mrning and trek dwn thrugh the dusty path int the beautful rain frest that will take us t Mweka Gate. The walk tday will take 5 t 6 hurs. At the gate we ll have a picnic lunch, sngs frm yur team and certificate presentatin befre driving t the camp/ldge/htel where yu ll have dinner and vernight. ridge, acting as a base camp frm which yu will make yur summit attempt at midnight tnight. Barafu camp (15,200 feet, 6-7 hurs f walking). Just after midnight we start f a challenging trek (12-17 hurs f trekking). Yu begin trekking passing between the Rebmann and Tarzel glaciers t the rim at Stella Pint. As dawn nears, we ll summit at Uhuru Peak, the highest pint in Africa at 19,340 feet. Uhuru will be the culminatin f and the reward fr 6-7 hurs f strenuus hiking. We ll then descend back t Barafu Camp, resting fr a while befre cntinuing ur descent t Mweka Camp (9,840 feet, 3-4 hurs f walking n the descent). 8 th day We ll make ur final descent t the park gate, a walk f abut 3 r 4 hurs. After bidding ur farewells t ur guide and prters, we ll drive t Arusha. 3. MARANGU ROUTE This is the easiest and ppular rute t kilimanjar used by trekking grups. A trek n this rute usually takes 5 day t 6 days. Mst trekkers nly g as far as Gillman s pint, n the crater rim at 5685m, as frm here t the summit at Uhuru peak and back requires anther hurs f walking. Marangu trail is well maintained and furnished with sleeping & dinning huts, tilet & shwer facilities. Maundi Crater ffers stunning views f the surrundings n a clear day. In ptin while trekking with marangu rute trekkers can visit sme places like water falls e.g kinukamri water fall, kilasia water fall als a cultural tur example cave f Mreheshe where marangu pepple hide during civil war between chagga and Maasai tribe in 19 th century. RONGAI ROUTE Rngai is anther rute t trek Munt Kilimanjar in rises abve the Ambseli plains and apprach the summit f Kilimanjar west f the Mawenzi peak. Here trekkers will climb the muntain n the eastern-nrth f the muntain acrss the brder f Tanzania mailand and Kenya. Wildlife can be seen n the lwer slpes and it is the least ppualar rutes t the summit. But at this rute the trekkers will get beautiful views f the nrthern part f the Kilimanjar and surrunding. Part f the rute is dry and dusty, and it s teaming with wildlife in the rain frest zne. We will rest fr a few minutes, get a ht drink and catch ur breaths, befre making the final trek t Uhuru Pint via Stella Pint at 5732m. The walk tday will take 4 t 5 hurs t the gate. We will stp fr lunch at Mandara Hut then trek dwn t Marangu Gate via the rain frest.

LEMOSHO ROUTE Lemsh rute is amng the Kilimanjar trekking rute acrss the shira plateau at the west, thrugh remte and pristine frest f west kilimanjar. It has taken ver the ld shira plateau trail because trekkers get t acclimatize much thrugh the frests f the western kilimanjar which were nt able t be seen thrugh shira plateau trail. Mre abut this rute it s allw side trips t the minr peak s f kilimanjar s third summit, the shira cathedral n the suthern side f the plateau (shira plateau). Thugh it s a great rute, it experiences a lt rain n this side f muntain especially during rainy seasn. Of curse yu culd pt t drive t the end f the rad r at least the Mrum Barrier which is as far as nn-emergence vehicles can drive but yu will be missing the entire frest zne and mre imprtantly sme precius acclimatazatin, fr yu will start yur trek at arund 3500m, but if yu pt t start yur walking frm the lemsh gate yu will pass thrugh these frest f the west, which is t be fair, grgeus arund here, fr healther and mrland zne with Ngarenairbi river an almst permanent presence t yur right. This rute is mstly used as a rescue rad because it allw 4wd vehicles t drive futher t the interir f the the kilimanjar natinal park t abut 3800m, where injured r sick are rescued back t the hspital in Mshi. This rute is said t be gd ne fr trekkers because f ther minr peaks f kilimanjar fund arund like the shira cathedral and many thers.
