Trout Lodge is located in Missouri's Eastern Ozarks and is situated on a 360-acre lake surrounded by 5,200 acres of forestcovered hills. This year-round, not-for-profit, family getaway and conference center is just 90 minutes south of St. Louis. The area offers spectacular clear streams, big springs, and pastoral scenery. It is rich in history with quaint small towns and a developing wine industry. All-Inclusive Vacationing at YMCA Trout Lodge Enjoy comfortable lodging at a comfortable price! Trout Lodge offers an outstanding value in family vacationing. Accommodations, three full meals and most activities are included in our per person rates. Our cozy accommodations will fit your lifestyle. From oversized guest rooms and two-story loft rooms in Trout Lodge, to two-bedroom private cabins along the lake or in the woods. All lodge rooms and many of the private cabins offer scenic views of Sunnen Lake. Each family cabin has a large living room, stone fireplace and screened-in porch. To ensure a relaxing visit, Trout Lodge rooms and cabins do not have phones or TV's. Spend time with your family or group with your only distraction being the great outdoors!

3 Services & Amenities Services & Amenities Mission Statement The YMCA of the Ozarks will put Christian principles into practice through the use of its programs, facilities, and natural surroundings that strengthen family life, provide for positive value development, foster health and physical fitness through the teaching of outdoor skills, promote intercultural understanding, and educate for the stewardship of the Earth and its resources. The Dining Experience Trout Lodge's experienced food service staff prepares wellrounded meals everyone will enjoy. Homemade favorites, delicious fresh baked goods, heart healthy selections and vegetarian choices are all available at our buffet. Our dining services staff is always ready to help with parties and catering special events. Shopping The Waterwheel Country Store carries a wide variety of gifts, souvenirs, clothing, toys, vacation supplies and snacks. Missouri-made crafts, YMCA shirts and hats, and nature toys for the kids provide a great shopping experience for all ages. Relax at the store's patio with a view of the beachfront and Sunnen Lake. The Triangle Y Ranch Store, located at the ranch, is a gift shop with a western theme. Cold beverages and snacks are available, as well as clothing and souvenirs. For your convenience, items at both stores may be charged to your room. Activities at YMCA Trout Lodge While you are relaxing in the beautiful Ozark surroundings, take advantage of the wide variety of activities we offer. Both adventure-based and purely recreational activities are available. Most activities are included in your stay, though some have a small fee. Some activities are seasonal and restrictions do apply; check with Guest Services for more information about the activities. Special Theme Weekends Fall, Winter and Spring, Trout Lodge offers special theme weekends for families. These weekends are quite popular and include Wellness Weekends, Halloween Festivities, Thanksgiving, New Year's Celebration, Western-Theme Weekends and so much more. Alpine Swing An exciting combination ride of a brief free fall & swing. Participants choose the height from which they swing - 10 to 40 ft.! Pines Peak A 20-foot climbing wall for adults and children as young as five. A safe introduction to the sport of rock climbing. Pines Zip Climb up a 20-foot pole, zip through the air down a 250-foot cable, and come to a stop with your feet in the air! Summit Course Experience one of the largest high ropes courses in the Midwest. This 2-level, 50-foot tall course offers the climber multiple challenges in the treetops. Using ropes, cable, pulleys, cargo nets, poles, zip lines and more, the participant will be challenged on every level. 5 YMCA Camp Lakewood YMCA Camp Lakewood YMCA Camp Lakewood Since 1905, Camp Lakewood has provided summer memories for children ages We offer a wide variety of safe, progressive, and best of all, fun camp programs. At Camp Lakewood, your child can attend our Summer Camp Program, participate in the Ranger Program, work on leadership skills in our Leadership Development Programs, or focus on Horsemanship as a special elective of our regular camp program. Children ages 6-8 can experience a taste of the summer camp program through Mini-Camp. Camp Lakewood offers both one-week and two-week sessions. Camp Lakewood counselors are chosen for their maturity, skills, patience, enthusiasm and desire to be positive role models for children. The health and safety of each camper is our primary concern. All staff experience extensive training, a registered nurse lives on property, and a local physician is always on call. Outdoor Education at Camp Lakewood Groups, organizations and schools looking for an opportunity to build unity, discover new abilities and enjoy time together are welcome from the middle of August through the end of May. Dormitory-style accommodations include traditional Lakewood cabins (heated with indoor plumbing) that can sleep up to 24 people, or our popular group cabin which sleeps up to 48 people in four rooms. Day trip to weeklong programs are available. We offer a progression of adventure and experiential learning opportunities, done in the greatest laboratory of all - the outdoors! Our unique Outdoor Education program gives children a new perspective on important issues: nature, history, science and social studies. Whether interested in environmental education, Missouri history, group interaction, or just being outdoors and having fun, it is our goal to work with you to provide your group or school the type of experience you desire. With our Group Sales Department to help plan your stay, you are free to enjoy spending all of your time making memories with your family at Trout Lodge. We have year-round accommodations for groups of every size, with a host of activities to keep everyone happy. Keep it simple with our all-inclusive package of lodging, meals and activities. We encourage you to make reservations well in advance. A year in advance is not too early to plan a family reunion, especially if you want to visit during peak times. We can help make the vision of your family reunion come true! Arrange a Meeting Room just for your family so that you can get together in one area. Enjoy a Chuck Wagon catered dinner complete with a hayride and a wonderful meal. Take a leisurely cruise on Sunnen Lake on a guided Pontoon Tour. Sit under the stars during a family campfire. Feel adventurous on our many climbing towers. Arrange a golf scramble at our 18-hole golf course, Fourche Valley. Relax by the lake on our back deck. Experience a family fishing trip on Sunnen Lake. Gaze at the stars during an astronomy lesson. Be adventurous on a Mark Twain National Forest caving trip.

7 Triangle Y Ranch Triangle Y Ranch Triangle Y Ranch Triangle Y Ranch is located on our grounds and is your horseback riding headquarters. Trails are designed to delight both the first-time rider and the experienced horseman. Yearround programs, daylong and hour-long rides and horse overnights are all offered at the ranch. We have over 80 horses and professional full-time wranglers. Some restrictions apply. Bluff Trail Ride A 2 1/2 to 3 hour ride (depending on size of group) along the trails and logging roads that lead to the bluffs. Once you arrive at the bluffs, dismount and take in the beautiful views, then mount up again for the ride back to the ranch. Valley Trail Ride A 1-mile ride designed to show off our beautiful hardwood forest. The trail will wind through the peaceful forest and cross through the Fourche Renault Creek. Mountain Trail Ride A 2-mile scenic trail that will take you up the Grainger diggings and down past the Hawkins' Mines area. This ride offers fantastic views of the lake. Pony Rides A great introduction to horseback riding for children who have never ridden, or who are not old enough to ride with us on the trails. Hayride A lovely wagon ride down our country roads flanked by the Fourche Renault Creek. Horse Overnights Take a 1 1/2 hour trail ride to a bluff overlooking Sunnen Lake, then ride to your campsite located in a wooded area near the lake where a tent is already set up for you! Your evening and breakfast meals are served at the campsite and include Dutch-oven cooking. Our Triangle Y wranglers will entertain you with plenty of good cowboy conversation and singing at an evening campfire. Ride back from the campsite on Sunday morning and then enjoy lunch in the Trout Lodge dining room. Must make reservations. Check the website for additional programs:

Activities and challenges with perceived risk are set forth to enhance qualities such as creative problem solving, positive conflict management, effective use of resources and leadership skills. The program incorporates experiential learning theory through team challenges and outdoor high adventure. Programs are designed to be accessible to people of various ages, physical levels and ability. Team Building Options Energizer Sessions Spark creativity, stretch muscles as well as minds and energize your group with a 30-minute to 2-hour session. Group Initiatives A series of obstacles and challenges that a group must work together to accomplish. The activities offer solution-focused problem solving. TEAM Challenge Course A progression of small group activities that focus on issues of communication, cooperation, creative problem solving, leadership and teamwork. These educational programs are a fun and exciting way to share new ideas, explore new places and make new friends. Programs are designed to help adults learn in a fun atmosphere, with no tests or assignments. Elderhostel programs are all-inclusive. The cost per person includes lodging, all meals, classes, entertainment and field trips. Traditional Elderhostel programs are 5-night, 6-day programs, though Short Programs (3-night, 4-day programs) are also offered. Active Outdoor, Service Programs, Intergenerational and Family Adventure Elderhostels are also offered at Trout Lodge. A list of classes, descriptions and prices are available from Trout Lodge or online: Adult Enrichment Adventures (AEAs) A Trout Lodge exclusive program, these 2-night, 3-day programs focus on various educational and entertaining topics. Many of our Elderhostel instructors teach these courses. Primarily classroom structured, each program may offer an off-site field trip, entertainment and time to relax and socialize with friends.
