5 Physical Condition & Experience Requirements Everest Base Camp Trek and Fly Back by Helicopter is a moderate trek and it is suitable for enthusiastic hikers. The hiker must able to walk at least 5-6 hours per day with their light bag. In some days you need to walk 8-9 hours. You can see the detail in our itinerary. Hiking at higher altitude is more challenging than lower altitude; however, if you have good health with average physical fitness, optimistic towards hiking, strong strength of mind, you can finish this trek successfully. Technical skills and past experience are not required for this trek. However, jogging, simple exercising is highly recommended before 2 weeks if you have not previous hiking experience. If you have a heart problem, lung and blood diseases you need to consult with your doctor before this trek. Also, if you are elder or children, if you have poor physical fitness and still you want to trek to Everest Base Camp, you need to customize this trek. Please feel free to detail about you; we will provide customized trekking package for you and we will try our best to make your trek memorable and successful. Best Time for the trek to Everest Base Camp The best time for Everest Base Camp Trek and fly back by helicopter is autumn (September, October, and November) and spring (March, April, and May). These two seasons the weather is sunny and warm and high possibility to see the clear mountain with your fresh eyes. In high altitude, nights are clod in all season. In winter (December, January, and February) cold is the big issue for a trekker. Other parts are quite good. EBC Trek in summer (June, July, and August) or monsoon will be affected by rain; but this season trekking is best for a botanist. Everest Trekking routes are crowded in the autumn and summer; but during winter and summer, the trekking routes are not packed. Start dates and costs We can arrange this Everest Base Camp Trek and Fly back by Helicopter in the last minutes too but advance booking is highly recommended. The costs vary on the group size and the required service. So, please feel free to contact us for the start date and cost.
